  • Great flavor. I found the batter to be quite dry so I added 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce. Perfect for muffins! - 1/20/15

  • I didn't expect much but was pleasently surprised. I used 1/4 cup nuts which increased the calories by 20 and added 2 grams of fat. - 10/22/09

  • I replaced 1/2 cup of the flour with whole wheat flour which usually causes my breads to be more dense. Still a good taste with a relatively low amount of sugar (I also do not use Splenda). - 4/19/09

  • This is really yummy! I used regular Splenda because I didn't have the BrnSgr one and no nuts. Even a half a serving is satisfying. My whole family loved this one - 5/22/08

  • Wonderful. Produces a very dense final product-- like the most delicious brick imaginable. I used whole wheat flour and added 1/2 cup of walnuts (about 30 extra calories per serving). I will be remaking it with fewer walnuts and just a teaspoon of Black Walnut flavoring. - 4/16/08

  • These were delicious! I made these as muffins, too. This will definitely be a recipe I make often. I may sub applesauce next time to cut down on fat and calories. Maybe some chopped pecans, too. MMMM! - 3/10/08
