Ingredients

    Loaf:
    1 1/4 lb. cured ground ham
    3/4 lb. fresh ground pork
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    3/4 cup crushed saltine crackers
    1/2 C. milk
    1/8 tsp. pepper

    Glaze:
    3/4 C. light brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 C. water
    1/4 C. white vinegar


Tips

If you don't have a meat grinder, your deli or meat department will grind the ham for you. This is a great way to use up leftover ham from a holiday dinner!


Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Mix ham, pork, eggs, crackers milk & pepper together well. Form into a loaf & place in baking dish. Bake for 1 hour. Combine brown sugar, mustard, water & vinegar in saucepan. Boil for 10 minutes. Glaze ham loaf 30 minutes before removing from oven.

Serving Size: Makes 12 1" thick slices
