Ingredients

    2 lbs. fresh, lean, pork roast
    1 cup tomato sauce
    1 can (10.75 oz) chicken broth
    1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
    1 Tablespoon basil, chopped
    1 Tablespoon oregano, chopped
    1 Tablespoon dried parsley
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    3 cloves garlic, minced

Tips

This can also be "Braised Balsamic Pork Roast", simply sear all sides of the roast in a hot skillet before adding to the liquid in the crockpot.
This recipe works for shoulder and sirloin roasts.


Directions

Season pork roast with salt and pepper. Combine broth, tomato sauce, vinegar, garlic and herbs in crockpot, add meat. Cook on low for about 8 hours.
