Ingredients

    cabbage - one small head, chopped
    carrots - 5 small, sliced
    butter - 2 tblsp.
    chicken broth - one can
    bacon bits - .33 cup
    dehydrated onion - 1 tsp.
    water - 3 cups
    shredded potatoes - 3 cups frozen
    1% milk - 3 cups


Tips

do not boil after adding milk.


Directions

Melt butter in large kettle over med high heat. Add carrots, cabbage, onions, broth, bacon and water. Bring to simmer for 10 min. Add frozen potatoes bring up to simmer and add milk. Slowly warm till heated through.
