Ingredients




    Onions, raw, 1 large (remove)
    Celery, raw, 4 stalk, large (11"-12" long) (remove)
    Garlic, 4 clove (remove)
    Crushed Tomatoes, 794 grams (remove)
    Water, tap, 6 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    Swiss Chard, 4 cup, chopped (remove)
    Lentils, 2 cup (remove)
    Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, 3 cup (remove)
    *Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 8 oz (remove)
    butterball turkey sausage polish kielbasa 2 oz, 7 serving (remove)
    Pinch of crushed red pepper, and or splash of lousiana gold hot sauce
    salt to taste (not added to nutrition)
    2 bay leaves
    1 tea extra virgin olive oil

Tips

I use red lentils


Directions

cook garlic in olive oil.
place all ingredients except sausages into large pot, cook several hours (this breaks the lentils down pretty much completely if using red lentils, softens brown lentils.)

Add sausages 20 minutes before serving.
