Ingredients

    Flaxseed, 4 cup
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Ginger, ground, 1 tbsp
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp
    Raisins, 1 cup, packed
    *Sun Maid, California Chopped Dates, 0.5 cup
    Pumpkin Seeds, 0.25 cup

Tips

Nutritional value will change with the addition of different dried fruits and nuts.


Directions

Mix flaxseeds with water seasoned with cinnamon and other spices and refrigerate overnight. Spread in a thin layer on a baking sheet and bake at 275 degrees F for 50 minutes to 1 hour, turning several times to dry out. Add raisins, dates and pumpkin seeds (or other nuts and dried fruits of choice) in the last 10 minutes.
