Ingredients

    Freshly squeeze 1/2c key lime juice by hand. This makes for a very tart pie, so some may prefer to use 1/4c key lime juice and 1/4c regular lime juice.

Tips

You may wish to let the pie sit for a few minutes before putting it into the oven. This allows the small bubbles to rise to the surface and gives a more consistent pie texture.


Directions

Freshly squeeze 1/2c key lime juice by hand. This makes for a very tart pie, so some may prefer to use 1/4c key lime juice and 1/4c regular lime juice. Beat the sweetened condensed milk and egg yolks/whole egg together until fully mixed. Slowly pour in and beat the lime juice, mixing for 1-2 mins. Pour into prepared graham cracker pie crust (store bought) and bake for 30-35mins at 350 degrees.
