Ingredients

    *Peaches, fresh, 3 cup slices (could use bag of frozen)
    *Flour, white, 2.25 cup
    Milk, 2%, 1 cup
    Half and Half Cream, .3 cup
    Brown Sugar, 3/4 cup, packed
    Cinnamon, ground, 2 tsp
    Butter, salted, 1 cup
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    1.5 tbsp lemon juice

    Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 pan. Peel, pit, and slice peaches. Add 1 1/2 tbs lemon juice to prevent browning. Place peaches in baking dish. Sprinkle with tsp of cinnamon and dots of 1/2 stick butter (cut up pieces). Set aside.

    You will need to mix the dry ingredients for the cobbler. Add the flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 c white sugar, 3/4 brown sugar, 1/4 tsp salt. Blend with a fork or whisk.

    To this you will added the wet ingredients. Melt 1 1/2 sticks of butter. Add the butter, milk, cream, vanilla to the melted butter - stir. Add the wet ingredients to the flour mix. Do not over stir. Pour over peaches.

    Bake 35-45 minutes depend on oven. Center should not shake. Insert pick and it should come out clean. Serve and eat - but be care it's hot so you should wait before eating it right out of the oven to avoid burns.
