Ingredients

    2 cups black beans, rinsed and drained well if canned
    1 cup chickpeas, rinsed and drained well if canned
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    2 tablespoons tahini
    2-3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, to taste
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/3 cup olive oil + more to taste

Tips

1. If it seems a bit dry, add a little more olive oil to achieve desired consistency.


Directions

1. Add all ingredients to food processor, and puree until smooth.
2. Chill until ready to serve.
