Introduction

Filling real food. Great as breakfast on the way to work with a cup of coffee and a piece of fruit. Filling real food. Great as breakfast on the way to work with a cup of coffee and a piece of fruit.
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

5 cups old fashioned rolled oats
    1.5 cups powdered milk
2 cups nuts, I use almonds usually
2 cups dried fruit, I like cherries
    1 cup crystallized ginger (opt)
1 cup dried coconut, unsweetened (opt)
1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk. Do not substitute anything else for this ingredient.

Ingredients are very flexible, use any combination of whatever sounds good or is in your cupboard. I liked dried pineapple, coconut and macadamia nuts; dates and walnuts; cranberries and any nut; peanuts and raisins with lots of cinnamon.

Directions

Mix all ingredients, I use my hand. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Spread goop on cookie sheet, place saran wrap on it and press it real hard; I stand on it- yes, with bare feet. Take off the plastic. After baking, cut into 24 bars while still a little warm.
