Introduction

Kefir is the probiotic kind, cherries contain anthocyanosides and are very good at lowering uric acid (helpful for anti-inflammation). Almonds rich in flavonoids, stabilize blood sugar and vitamin E. Whole apple great for it's fiber content. Raw apples contain phenolics, which help neutralize free radicals. Honey is a great antibacterial. Ingredients

    1/2 C Kefir - Strawberry/Honey, organic with probiotics
    1/4 C Just Tart Cherry Juice
    1 large apple cubed with skin
    12 Raw unsalted almonds

Tips

Blend only until it is thoroughly mixed. If you have an alergy to nuts just omit and adjust the protein content. Another favorite substitute is strawberry greek yogurt or what ever flavor sounds good. I like to mix it up fruit wise. but I keep the apple in for fiber.


Directions

This is a blended not cooked smoothie. If you want to reduce the calories use less Kefir and add 1/4 C water. You don't need ice as the apple makes this a thick blend. Lots of good things and a great way to get your fruit in for the day.
