Introduction

Basically a homemade Hamburger Helper. This was a dish made up by my wife piecing together items we had in the kitchen. The "Surprise" is it tastes great and not excessive on calories. Ingredients

    1 Pound Ground Beef
1 Can of Evaporated Milk (Fat Free)
1 Can of Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Condensed Soup
About 1/2 Cup Taco Seasoning (Season to taste)
16 oz box of Kroger linguine
    Sliced jalapenos (Optional)

Tips

Linguine takes a little longer than most pasta, so I suggest starting the pasta first. This recipe can be made with any pasta. We have used egg noodles, vermicelli, and fettuccine.

Directions

In a large pot boil linguine.
In a large skillet, brown and drain ground beef. Return to medium heat and add cheddar cheese soup and work through. Then add evaporated milk and stir till creamy. Add taco seasoning mix well. Add cooked linguine. Mix until all pasta is covered, remove from heat, and serve. Add jalapeno slices (optional).
