Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 1/2 lbs lean hamburger
    1 large onion, diced
    1 tbs minced garlic
    1 large can dark red kidney beans
    1 large can tomato juice
    2 cans diced tomatoes with green chiles (or plain, or a combination of both)
    1 can Miller High Life
    dash Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp sugar
    8 tsp chili powder
    1 tbsp oregano
    1 tbsp dried parsley
    tiny pinch cinnamon
    salt and pepper to taste (though I rarely add salt)

Tips

It's really better the next day.


Directions

Brown the meat with the diced onion. Drain the meat of fat, then add the garlic, cooking for long enough to let garlic soften. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer for 20 minutes or longer.
