Ingredients
-
1 lb honeysuckle turkey ground 99%
1 lb kroger ground turkey 93%
1 tsp cumin
6 oz tomato paste
2 eggs
1 c panko bread crumbs
3 tps garlic
3 tbls Worcestershire sauce
2 medium onions
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 diced tomatoes with Jalapeño pepper
2 tsp olive oil
Tips
Next time I think I will try this with lowfat cheddar cheese mixed in.
Directions
Mix all ingredients, except for 1/2 diced tomatoes with Jalapeño pepper, together, shape into loaf in crockpot and cook on low for about 6 to 7 hours. I add a little olive oil to keep it from sticking.
halfway through cookinging add the 1/2 diced tomatoes with Jalapeño pepper onto top of meat loaf.
I then weighted out each serving to be 5 oz. I had 2 oz left over, so you can sprinkle a little over each 9 serving or set aside to add to scrambled eggs or pasta.
