Introduction
You will never buy store bought croutons again after making these easy croutons. They go with salads, top soups, and are even good to munch. Ingredients

1/2 t. salt
4 garlic cloves, chopped fine
1 t. red pepper flake
3 T. olive oil
3 T. salted butter
ciabatta bread, one loaf cubed (any dense bread will work)
Directions
Melt together the olive oil and butter, add garlic and the red pepper flake and sauté until garlic begins to brown.
Cube the bread and place in a large bowl.
Pour the mixture over the bread and stir well to coat.
Place on a baking sheet in one layer only
Bake 400 degrees about 20 minutes until bread is crisp.
Remove from oven and cool completely before serving and/or storing.
