Ingredients

2 Lbs Lean Ground Beef
16 oz bag dry Light Red Kidney Beans
28 oz can Diced Tomatoes
14.5 oz can Chili Ready Tomatoes
2Tbsp Cumin
1Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
2Tbsp Chili Powder
1Tbsp Garlic Powder
2Tbsp Onion Powder
Tips
Sometimes, I will use Tomato Juice or V8 in place of water or add a diced onion to the browned beef until clear. Enjoy!
Directions
1. Let the beans sit overnight in a bowl of water per package directions. Rinse and then put in a crock pot.
2. Brown ground Beef in a pan on medium heat until cooked through.
3. Add all ingredients to the crock pot, just barely cover the ingredients with water (1/2 inch), and put on high heat for one hour.
4. Turn heat down to low and cook for another 8+ hours, but not more than 12, stirring every so often.
Serving Size: Makes 3-4 Quarts of Chili or 16 1-cup servings approximately
