Introduction

Ingredients

    soak bulgur over night in 2 cups of water with the beef bouillon. next morning drain 2 can's of black beans.
    peel two large carrots and microwave 45 seconds then chop and add to food processor with all the rest of the vegetables, seasonings, pickle juice, oil, and egg. pulse until ever thing is chopped up. Put chopped vegetables and Bulgar in large mixing bowl. Then pulse black beans and add to this mixture. add the oats and psyllium( i used the equate fiber therapy) and mix all the ingredients together and place in refrigerator about 3 hours. When then mixture is stiff enough to handle, line cookie sheets with wax paper. Measure 1/3 cup portions and shape into patties, poke a small whole in middle of each patty and place on cookie sheets. Place in freezer when frozen they can be put in zip lock freezer bags to be used as needed.Note you can cook then right then if desired.

Tips

I shape them in a large round lid lined with plastic wrap.


Directions

thaw in microwave about 1 minute and put in hot skillet sprayed with oil or Pam. cook on both sides. Makes a great hamburger or use like you would any hamburger patty. etc with gravy
