Introduction

This is as simple as it gets for Chili... This is as simple as it gets for Chili...
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb ground chicken
    1 small onion chopped
    2 cans Diced Tomatoes
    1 can Seasoned Chili Beans
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can seasoned black beans
    * chili peppers, poweder, jalapeanos (optional)
    1/4 cup lentils
    Water
    1 bag frozen corn (approx 2 cups)
    Salsa (to add spice) optional

Tips

This is a kid approved chili. My children do not like super spicy foods so change the heat to your preference. Salsa can be used to add heat if needed.


Directions

Brown Chicken (season with garlic, etc) add 1 small chopped onion and cook until tender.

Add in 2 cans diced tomatoes (with liquid)
1 can seasoned chili beans (with liquid)
1 can black beans (I prefer seasoned with liquid)
1 can of rinsed kidney beans
Mix together. Add Lentils. Add water to cover.
Season with chili powder, garlic, etc... to taste Simmer for 30 min.
5 min before serving add frozen corn.


Serving Size: Makes 8 hearty (progresso can of soup size) servings
