    Onions, raw, 2 slice, large (1/4" thick)
    Venison, 2 pound
    *Tomato juice, with salt added, 4 cup
    Basil, 1 tbsp
    Alcohol, Wine Red (Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon), 8 oz
    *Potato, raw, 1 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) diced
    Carrots, raw, 1 carrot (7-1/2") diced

Directions

combine ingredients in crock pot and cook all day on low or 4-6 hours on high.
