Introduction

This is the only turkey chili I have found that I like. This is the only turkey chili I have found that I like.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 1/4 lbs ground turkey
    1 onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 (16 ounce) can red kidney beans, undrained
    1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
    2 tablespoons chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon oregano
    1/2 teaspoon cumin
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 1/2-2 cups water

Tips

I usually add another tablespoon of chili powder because we like our chili a little spicier.


Directions

1. Over medium heat spray a large dutch oven with non stick cooking spray.
2. Saute ground turkey, green pepper, and onion until lightly browned and onion and pepper are soft.
3. Add the remaining ingredients plus the water and stir well.
4. Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 6 1.6-cup servings
