Introduction

Easy to do! Is healthy and no salt option! Easy to do! Is healthy and no salt option!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

Turkey breast one to one and half pound
    Salt and pepper to taste
    water

Tips

This is a gluten free, salt free (if you don't use it), way to make healthy meat. You may substitute turkey with chicken breast or even a full chicken. You will have to keep an eye on chicken breast and possibly use broth to make it more tasty. A whole chicken, you can use only water to cover the bottom of the crockpot and let it make its own broth but cook on low for at least 8 hours.

Directions

If you use a crockpot cooking bag, place in crock pot first with it turned off. Place turkey breast, completely thawed, facing up in crockpot, you may keep skin on or take it off, your choice. Less calories if you take it off though. Fill up with water just enough to cover the bottom. If you are unsure, put in at least a cup. Salt and pepper the top if you like you don't have to. Then let it cook on high at least four hours or low for 8 hours.

Serving Size: depending on the size of the turkey breast it can make at least 4 one cup servings
