Ingredients

    3 to 4 pounds beef chuck roast
    1 1/2 cups ketchup
    1 package of onion soup mix
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    3 tablespoons vinegar
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    2 teaspoons prepared mustard
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    12 hamburger buns

Directions

1. Trim fat from beef roast. Place meat in slow cooker, cutting to fit if necessary. Stir together all remaining ingredients except buns in medium bowl; pour over meat. cover; cook on low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours, or on high heat for4 to 5 hours or until fork tender.

2. Skim off fat. Remove meat from sauce. Shred meat. Return meat to sauce in slow cooker.

3. To server, spoon about 1/4 cup hot meat mixture on bottom of each bun.
