Ingredients
-
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast - cut into bite size pieces
2 cloves garlic
2 Tbsp Flour
2 Tbsp Dried Oregano
2 Tbsp Dried Basil
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
3 cups non-fat milk
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 ounces frozen broccoli
2 ounces kale (leaves only - stocks removed)
2 ounces frozen peas
2 packages Shirataki Noodles (7 ounces each package)
Directions
Drain and rinse Shirataki Noodles for 30 seconds under warm water. Boil noodles for 3 minutes - drain and return to hot pot. Warm noodles on low until all liquid has evaporated (15-30 minutes) stirring often to avoid burning the noodles.
Heat Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and brown until chicken is cooked through (about 10 minutes). Add garlic, dust chicken with flour and cook 2 minutes more. Add milk, veggies, and herbs (don't add any salt or pepper yet). Milk will begin to thicken as it heats with the flour 10-15 minutes - continue stirring to keep the milk from sticking to the pan. When the sauce coats the back of a spoon add the Parmesan Cheese. Taste and season with salt and pepper (or red chili flakes) to taste.
Toss dried Shirataki Noodles into warm sauce and mix well to coat all the noodles. Serve with additional cheese if desired.
