Ingredients

    8 ozs ground turkey (extra lean)
    1/3 red bell pepper (diced small)
    1/3 green bell pepper (diced small)
    1 cup of mushrooms (slicedl)
    1 egg whites
    1 tsp chili powder
    1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (to taste)
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1 tsp cilantro (dried)
    salt (and pepper, to taste)

Tips

saute the veggies for 2 mins with the spices to release flavor before adding to the turkey meat.


Directions

Put all ingredients (except hamburger buns) in a bowl and combine with hands. Form the mixture into 4 equal sized patties. Grill about 4-5 minutes on each side (or until thoroughly cooked). Serve on hamburger buns.
