Ingredients

    1Lb Ground Beef 93% Lean
    1Lb Ground Turkey, Lean
    1 large can (14.5 oz.) mushroom stems and pieces
    1 can (3 oz.) sliced mushrooms
    1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 TB Italian seasoning
    2 TB chopped garlic
    1 tsp SPIKE seasoning
    1 tsp season salt
    1 cup marinara sauce, prepared
    4 slices provolone

Tips

Serve with garlic bread and red wine, if desired.


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine vegetable ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add spices. Add meat to vegetables and mix thoroughly. Add parmesan cheese last and mix gently. Divide equally between two loaf pans. Cook 50 minutes in 350 degree oven, top with marinara sauce. Cook 10 minutes, adding sliced provolone to the top for the last 5 minutes, or until brown. Let sit before slicing 15 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes two loaves, eight slices each, two slices per serving
