Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 Cup Almond Flour
    1/2 Cup Coconut Flour
5 Tbsp Psyllium husk Powder (no substitute!) must be fine powder no husks!
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp Celtic sea salt
    4 eggs
    2 egg whites
3 Tbsp Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar
    1 1/8 cups boiling water

Tips

You may have to play with the recipe some. Just don't leave out the Psyllium or sub flax seed. The Psyllium is what makes it rise. Tastes remarkably like whole wheat bread without the calories or carbs!

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a medioum sized bowl, combine the dry ingredients and mix very well. (Do not substitute flax seed for the psyllium!) Slightly beat the eggs and whites together. Add the eggs and vinegar and mix until a thick dough forms. Add boiling water into the bowl. Mix until well combined and dough firms up. (It should double in size). Form into 6 sub sized loaves. ( the dough should rise 2 to 3 times its size. You can form into one large loaf if desired. I placed mine in a 12 cup bun pan. Place onto a greased baking sheet. (I used spray coconut oil). Bake for 55 minutes if one large loaf or 45 minutes for multiple small loaves. Cut open with a serrated knife and fill with filling of choice, or just butter and enjoy!
