Introduction

I did not like store bought fried rice's so I decided to make my own with the things I like and this is what I came up with and loved. I did not like store bought fried rice's so I decided to make my own with the things I like and this is what I came up with and loved.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 cup of rice
    1 cup of water
    1/2 cup corn kernals
    1/2 cup peas
    3 shallots (Green part only)
    2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce
    2 teaspoons of olive oil

Tips

- Remember to keep stirring and folding the fried rice so that it does not stick or go clumpy.
- Also remember to take it off the heat once done otherwise it will keep cooking and could potentially burn.


Directions

1. Cook 1 cup of rice to 1 cup of water in a rice cooker.
2. Poor a teaspoon of olive oil into a wok and swirl wok around to coat the base.
3. Combined in the wok the cooked rice, corn, peas and shallots.
4. Stir and fold on a low temperature the ingredients whilst pouring another teaspoon of olive oil.
5. As you stir and fold the ingredients slowly add the soy sauce to it.
6. Once all is combined and cook remove wok from heat and allow the fried rice to settle for 5 minutes before serving.

Serving Size: 3-4 1/2 cup servings
