Ingredients

1 cup Steel cut, raw oats (bulk section)
2 tbsp Oat bran, raw (bulk section)
2 tbsp Demerara sugar, raw (bulk section)

Tips

Add fresh blueberries and strawberries for additional fiber and sweetness! Stay out of the WHITE SUGAR! :) Could add a pat of real butter or a little almond milk to get to desired consistency and taste. ENJOY!

Directions

Mix ingredients together in a bowl. Prep your rice cooker or slow cooker (mine cooks rice too). Set it for BROWN rice because the oats are more crunchy than traditional "oat"meal. Cook for approximately 20 minutes in a rice cooker OR you can set it on your stove in a pot and cook on medium for 30-45 minutes, depending on how you wish your oatmeal to be. Slightly crunchy will be cooked on the lower end of the scale. More porridge consistency will be cooked on the upper end of the scale.
