Ingredients

    1 (10 ounce) bag Marketside Asparagus Spears (about 5 spears per serving)
    1 tablespoon butter
    ½ teaspoon each of salt and pepper

Directions

1. Punch holes in the top of the asparagus bag.
2. Place the asparagus bag on a microwave safe dish.
3. Microwave for 2 to 3 minutes
4. After cooking, remove from the microwave, using oven gloves.
5. Let stand, still covered, another couple of minutes.
6. Be careful as you cut a slit in the lid as the steam will also be hot!
7. Turn onto a serving dish.
8. Add the butter and season with salt and pepper.

Serving Size: Makes 4 servings of about 5 spears per serving
