Ingredients

    4 c water
    2 c whole milk
    2 large eggs
    4 TBS butter
    2 c oats
    1/4 tsp salt
    2 c diced apples (2 medium)
    1/2 c honey
    1 TBS cinnamon

Tips

Recipe created for those on a purée diet. Run through a blender or food processor if patient needs a smooth texture. Results will vary according to the quality of the blender/food processor.


Directions

Bring water to boil, melt butter. Whisk eggs into milk. Slowly add to boiling water, stirring. Add oats, salt and apples. Reduce heat to simmer. Simmer 20 minutes. As thickens add honey and cinnamon.
