Ingredients

    1 1/2 lbs Chicken Breast - no skin or bones
    12 cups broth - no fat
    1 1/2 lbs carrots cut up
    1/2 package celery hearts cut up
    1 lb Parsnips cut up
    1 package thin egg noodles (optional)

    Salt, Pepper and other spices to taste

Tips

I freeze in 16 oz containers and then take for my lunches at work. If you travel you can put them in your checked bag, just before you leave for the airport. Keep in hotel fridg for a healthly dinner.


Directions

Cut all the items up and put in the pot (except for noodles).
Bring to a boil and simmer for about 2 hours or until veggies are done.
Add noodles and cook based on package time ( 5 - 6 min).

Cool and put into 16 oz screw top containers (Ziploc, Glad).
Freeze


Serving Size: Makes - 14 (16 oz) zip containers
