Number of Servings: 10


    2 pound bag of pinto beans (soaked in water overnight)
    8 ounce can of tomato sauce
    2 lbs. ground beef
    1 green bell pepper (chopped)
    1 white onion (chopped)
    seasonings to taste (chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic, salt and pepper, oregano, basil, etc.)


soak the beans overnight in water

throw beans and tomato sauce and a can of water in a pot and simmer for about 2 hours.

brown beef and onion together. Once brown, add to pot. Add bell peppers and any seasonings to taste. Simmer for about an hour-2, depending on beans consistency.

Makes 10, 1 cup portions.
