Unsalted butter 1 1/2 Tbsp
Olive Oil 1 1/2 Tbsp
Baby Portabella mushrooms sliced 12 oz
Sweet Onion 1/4 medium sliced or diced
Green Beans (string beans snapped) 24 oz
Trader Joe's Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 container
Water 1/2 cup
Swiss Cheese Shredded 1 1/2 cup
Fried Onions Pieces 4 oz
Tips
I had a hard time determining the volume or weight of the shredded Swiss cheese. I bought block cheese because shredded was available at the store I was shopping in at the time.
I also threw away the packaging by mistake so I couldn't determine the ounces in the whole package.
I thought I could just shred the cheese, but I found it difficult in determing the volume or weight of 1 1/2 cups of cheese.
Just a general tip when addressing cup measurements for shredded cheese.
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Heat Olive oil and butter in a large heavy skillet
Add mushrooms and sauté until they become soft and lightly browned
Add onion and continue to sauté until soft and lightly browned
Add green beans and sauté until heated through
Add mixture to a medium size casserole dish
Top with cheese and fried onion pieces
Place in oven and bake until cheese melts and becomes warm and bubbly
About 15 to 20 minutes
Serving Size: 6 servings per casserole dish
