Ingredients

12 slices w/w bread
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup f/f milk
1/2 tsp bourbon vanilla extract
1/2 tsp gr. cinnamon
pancake syrup OR powdered sugar with sliced berries (not included in the calculations).
Directions
preheat a pancake griddle to med heat. Spray with cooking spray after heated. Griddle is ready when a drop of water sizzles and dances across the hot surface.
have the slices of bread stacked, and the serving plate ready for the finished toast. this recipe goes quickly.
mix the next 4 ingredients in a low sided pan. lay a piece of bread into the mix, and quickly flip it over. lift the wet bread and allow excess liquid to drain for 1 second. then flop the wet bread onto the hot griddle. repeat until griddle is full of wet bread.
allow each slice to cook about one minute on each side, or until nicely browned and steaming and center is firm.
remove cooked french toast to each serving plate.
allow each guest to a helping of syrup or a sprinkling of powdered sugar and sliced berries.
