Ingredients

    1Tbs Butter, 1Tbs Golden Syrup, 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda.
    Mix syrup and butterwell, then add flow and stir well, mix the baking soda together then add to the mixture, to make a batter.

    Ginger Syrup: 3 cups water, 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon root ginger (powder), bring to boil.

    Drop one teaspoonful of batter into the boiling syrup, and gently simmer in the pot with the lid onfor about twenty minutes. The ginger dumplings will puff up to three times .

Directions

Mix butter, syrup , milk and flour into a batter

Make sugar syrup with water sugar and ginger root, and boil.

Serving Size: makes 4 1-cup servings
