Ingredients

    Pureed Tomatoes, 20 grams
    Coriander leaf, dried, 1 tbsp
    Olive Oil, 1tsp
    Carrots, raw, 1 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) chopped
    Garlic, 1 clove chopped
    Tesco Value Tin of Chopped Tomatoes in Tomato Juice
    Cumin Powder, 1 tsp.
    lentils red split 200g
    Onion Red 1 large chopped
    bouillon powder (vegetable stock for soups), 4 tsp
    Water, 1L

Directions

Toast Cumin in the bottom of the pan for a few minutes. Add the onion, garlic, oil and the carrot and cover for a few minutes.
Make the stock up by mixing the stock cube and the water and heat, then add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes or until the carrot is cooked.

Serving Size: Makes 4 servings
