Introduction

Quick Weeknight recipe Quick Weeknight recipe
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

6 Flour Tortillas (Soft Taco Shell size)
    1 jar Salsa
16 oz Kraft Natural Cheese 2%, Colby-Monterrey Jack
1 pkg. Old El Paso Taco Seasoning Mix (40% Less Sodium)

Tips

You can add as much cheese as you like. The recipe called for twice as much, but I toned it down a little for calorie-sake!

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In medium-sized skillet, combine ground beef and taco seasoning and cook according to package directions for traditional taco meat.
Once cooked, pour a small amount of beef mixture into bottom of a 9 x 13 baking pan or your favorite baking dish. I use all sizes!
Place a soft tortilla on top of meat mixture.
Spread the tortilla with 1/4 cup beef mixture, 1/4 cup salsa and 1/4 cup cheese. Repeat for each later and then top off the top layer with remaining cheese.
Bake in oven until cheese is melted and slightly browned.
Garnish with sour cream and cilantro, if desired.
