Ham stock from Ham Bone
Ham
Onions
Carrots
Turnips
Celery
Kale
Lentils
Barley
Split Peas
Spinach
Parsley
Black Pepper

Tips
Basically, when I make soup, I make a big pot with lots of vegetables. Ham Hock or Ham bone is the best - gives the soup a wonderful taste. Better than using stock cubes.
Directions
Cook ham on the bone for about 2 hrs in water.
Slice ham and add to stock
Add chopped onions, carrots, turnip, celery
Add lentils, barley, split peas
Add Kale & spinach (frozen or fresh)
Boil and simmer until desired constituency
Add chopped parsley & Black pepper.
Serve with bread, if desired.
