Ingredients

    TWICE-BAKED POTATOES

    6 large baking potatoes

1/2 cup butter or stick margarine, softened

1 cup milk or whipping cream

1/2 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled

1-1/2 cup (6 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese, divided

    1 tablespoon minced chives

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    Dash pepper

    Paprika

My recipe would be 2 potatoes instead of 6 to cut back on calories and to reduce the amount of fat I would use 1/4 cup of margarine to reduce the amount of lipids and fat calories, 1/2 cup of milk because I'm serving half of the serving 1/4 of a cup of bacon to reduce the sodium and the amount of cholesterol. 1/2 cup of shredded cheese because that to many fat calories. I would keep the amount of chives, pepper and paprika but loos the salt because the bacon has enough salt already on it. By cutting the serving down to one 1/3 of the original menu it has reduced the baked potato to 210 calories 16 grams of fat 31 mg of cholesterol 278 mg of sodium 13 g of carbohydrates 1 gram of fiber and 5 grams of proteins. I would one slice of baked fish to replace the amount of fiber and protein that i lost
