Ingredients
-
1 can of chunk light tuna in water
1/2 cup of raw tomatos, chopped
1/2 cup of raw white or yellow onion, chopped
1 cup of chopped apples
2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced & chopped
1 tbsp of salt
1 tbsp of pepper
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tbsp of cayenne pepper
2 tbsp of Kraft Miracle Whip Light Dressing
2 tbsp Yellow Mustard
8 slices of whole wheat bread
Directions
This is a bit time consuming with all the chopping, if it is done by hand. If you have a chopper, than it be quicker.
Chop all your ingredients and put them in a bowl. While chopping your ingredients, have your 2 eggs cooking. Open your can of Tuna, rinse it out and pour it into your bowl with your other ingredients. You can add your miracle whip and mustard, while waiting on your eggs or you can wait til they are done to mix it all together. Either way, mix up your ingredients along with the salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper and eggs. I included the amounts for the spices but you can do that to taste. As for the miracle whip and mustard, that is also to taste. You can add more or make it less than specified. So, the calories and fat grams will vary to taste. Once it is all mixed up and done to your taste, refrigerate if you like for a bit or you can slap it on your whole wheat bread and eat away. You can make as much as you want and refrigerate for another lunch meal. This is also great to take for a party as a side dish. Bon apettite!
