Ingredients
-
1 cup of uncooked enriched, white, long-grain rice (or brown rice if you prefer)
1 cup of 100% Grape Juice (No sugar added)
1 cup of water
About .5 oz of raisins (I prefer a mix of crasins, raisons, and golden raisons, yum)
Directions
Mix together uncooked rice, grape juice, water, and raisins in a saucepan (or you can add the raisins later if you prefer them less soft). Set the stove to a high heat and stir occasionally until rice reaches a rolling boil. Turn the heat down to a simmer and cover saucepan with a tight fitting lid (it's important to keep the steam in). After simmering for 15 minutes, turn off heat and let the rice sit with the lid on for at least another 5 minutes.
