16 oz BoneLess SkinLess Chicken Breasts
1 2/3 cup hot water
1 loaf sprouted bread, toasted and cut into cubes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
3 tsp parsley, dried
1.5 Tbsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 slice (1 oz) Provolone Cheese
1/3 cup Sour Cream, reduced fat
3 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp all purpose flour (oat flour)
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1/4 tsp Poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup Chicken Broth
1/2 cup non-fat milk
Tips
You may make this meal faster by using 1 can of cream of chicken soup and 1 box stuffing mix.
Directions
Greased 9x13 inch pan. Trim fat off chicken breasts and pound into even width approx. 1/2 inch and place on bottom of pan. Layer sliced cheese on top. Toast bread slices and cut into cubes. Mix the next 5 ingredients with the bread crumbs. Mix with hot water with bread crumb seasoning mixture and set aside. In a 2 quart pan, melt butter. Add flour, seas salt, poultry seasoning, black pepper, skim milk, and chicken broth. (This is your cream of chicken soup mixture). Add sour cream and mix well. Pour this mixture onto the chicken breast and cheese slices. Add the dressing mixture (which is equivalent to a box of stuffing mix). Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 more minutes.
