Ingredients

2 serving 1 Cup Warm Water (by TLHAGEN)
2.5 tsp Active Dry Yeast (by GRTMOMX3)
2.5 tsp Granulated Sugar
.25 cup Butter, unsalted , melted
.5 cup Milk, canned, evaporated
6 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour (Give or take, depending on consistency.)
1 tbsp Shortening, Crisco
1 tbsp Butter, unsalted
Directions
Place yeast and sugar in small bowl. Pour the warm water (not hot) over it and let set 15-20 min.
Combine melted butter, sugar, evaporated milk, and salt into a large bowl. When your yeast mix is ready, add then together and mix.
Using a stand mixer, with a bread hook, pour in 3 cups flour and yeast mix, and stir. Add 1 cup at a time after until it no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl. You will know it is ready when it no longer sticks to your fingers.
Cover the dough ball with shortening, cover and let rise in a warm place for at lease 1.5hours. Until doubled.
Place on a lightly floured surface and knead for 2-3 min. Divide in half and shape into a loaf or place in bread pan that has been prepared. Cover and let rise again for 30 min. Set oven to 375 and bake 25 min.
Serving Size: 2 loaves, 12 slices each= 24 slices.
