Ingredients

100 gram(s) soya beans (by BABYGIRLJO)
    100 gram(s) Chick Peas, Raw 1/2 cup=50g (by JNBLAKE)
    100 grams Lentils
    100 grams Onions, raw
    100 gram(s) soya granules (by GAZELLE16)
    2 tbsp Curry powder
    500 grams Beef stock, home-prepared
    100 grams Mushrooms, fresh

Tips

I constructed this recipe because I have and iron deficiency, and am diabetic.Suitable for slow cooker or boiling or microwaving.
Dry soya and chick need to be soaked overnight.
Useally served, well here anyway, with baked potato or frys.
Its a very versatile dish, you can add in mixed veg, of if not a vegi, then meat or chicken of choice. :-)

Directions

Soak the beans, peas, and lentils for 12 hours in cold water.
Rinse well prior to cooking.
Place all dry ingredients in a suitable size pyrex bowl, including the chopped onion
Add 500 ml of stock or water and stir to mix.
Bring to boiling point, and simmer for 1 hour.
You could of course add in a 500g jar of your favourite curry sauce, mine would be Tika Masala, or such. I find Corma type to be too bland with this dish.
Sometimes, instead of the curry, I would use a packet of Knorr beef casserole mix!
