Ingredients

    1.0 tsp Pepper, black
    1.0 tsp Turmeric, ground
    1.0 tbsp Basil
    1.0 tbsp Salt
    1.0 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery, raw
    1.0 clove Garlic
    2.0 tbsp chopped Onions, raw
    1.5 cup 365 Organic Diced Tomatoes
    4.0 cup Broth, Vegetable, Clearly Organic, Best Choice
    85.0 gram(s) Stop & Shop Frozen Chopped Kale, 1 serving = 1 cup (85g)
    7.0 gram(s) Avocado Oil - Chosen Foods - 1 TBSP

Directions

Over medium heat Saute onion celery and garlic in avocado oil until softened. A two tablespoons of tomato paste and saute a minute longer. Add 4 cups of organic vegetable broth. Bring broth to a low boil. All at once add 28 ounce can of organic diced tomatoes and 1 Cup frozen kale. Add tumerick basil salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat. With a stick blender puree until the desired consistency is obtained. Serve as an appetizer with a Sprinkle of Parmesan on top or have with sandwiches for a warming filling meal. Serving Size: Makes four 2 cup servings or eight 1 cup servings
