Ingredients

3.5 cup Dried Lentils (Serving size = 1/4 cup dry) (by HEALTHIERANN66)
3.25 cup, chopped Carrots, raw
4 cup Leeks
2 cup, diced Celery, raw
2.5 cup Bell peppers (Green, Red, Yellow, Orange)
4.5 serving Bacon, Oscar Mayer Naturally Hardwood Smoked, 2 skillet fried piece (by ARUTHK01)
1.5 cup, chopped Onions, raw
16 cup Swanson 50% Less Sodium Beef Broth (by C87277)
.75 cup Parsley
2 tsp Jugo Maggi (5 ml = tsp) (by CHALUTO)
1 tsp Pepper, black

3 serving Red Potato (Boiled/Steamed/Baked) - 1 Medium (by DREAMGOAT)
10 serving Oscar Mayer Classic Turkey, Chicken, Pork Wieners/hot dogs)
Directions
Wash dried lentils and let them soak in some cold water.
While the lentils are soaking, chop up all vegetables and put them in a large soup pot.
Add 16 cups of Swanson's 50% less sodium beef broth and bring to a boil.
In the mean time dice the bacon and the onion in small bits and saute them together in a skillet until the bacon is crispy and the onions are soft. Drain fat and add to soup pot.
Drain the lentils and add them to the pot.
Once the soup comes to a boil lower the heat and let it simmer for about 1 1/2 hrs. Cut 3 medium potatoes into small squares and add them to soup. Continue to cook until potatoes are soft.
Cut 10 hot dogs into thin slices and add to pot and stir.
Add the finely chopped parsley and let cook for another 10 minutes. Serve hot.
