Ingredients

    2 lbs.stew meat
    1 Packet of Safeway Brand Stew Seasoning packet
    3 cups of water
    approx. 1/2 bag of baby carrots (whole),
    two slices of celery diced up,
    2 cups of thick (red potatoe cut in quarters or any potatoe)potatoe slices.
    Rice (if you choose)

Directions

Combine the stew meat with 1/4 cup of flour and brown on stove w/ 2 tbl. of oil. Meanwhile mix the stew seasoning packet w/3 cups of water in (large) crockpot and add approx. 1/2 bag of baby carrots (whole), two slices of celery diced up, and about 2 cups of thick (red potatoe cut in quarters)potatoe slices. Add to that the stew meat and cook on low 8-9 hours or 2 hours on stovetop. May serve over rice if desired.
