Ingredients

    454 grams (1 lb) 93% lean ground beef
    1 onion
    1 green bell pepper
    3 grams (.5 tsp) salt
    7 grams (1 tbsp) chili powder
    10 grams (2 tsp) Worcestershire sauce
    680 grams (24 oz can or jar) tomato sauce
    880 grams (2 16 oz cans) black beans
    440 grams (16 oz can) light red kidney beans
    411 grams (14.5 oz can) diced tomatoes
    170 grams (6 oz can) tomato paste

Tips

If you don't mind more fat content, feel free to add cheddar cheese and/or sour cream to individual bowls.

For a more heavily seasoned experience, use pasta sauce instead of tomato sauce, and/or seasoned diced tomatoes.

You can also use crushed or stewed tomatoes in place of diced tomatoes.


Directions

Chop onions and green pepper.

Brown the ground beef; halfway through browning, add onion and green pepper.

Pour into slow cooker.

Stir in other ingredients.

Cover.

Cook on high 3 hours, or low 7-8 hours.
