Ingredients

1 1/2 cups mashed strawberries
15 dried figs, chopped finely
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 cup water
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a heavy-bottomed pot on medium-high heat.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 12 minutes, stirring.
Mash with a potato masher or fork to blend.
Cook until thick bubbles start forming. Remove from heat.
While still warm pour into sterilized jars, screw on lids and cool completely before storing in fridge.
