Ingredients

1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
3 tsp unpacked Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Ketchup, Heinz
0.25 cup Progresso Bread Crumbs - Italian Style
1 tbsp (C) Vinegar, White (Gr Value)
448 gram(s) Beef, Ground (Maverick Ranch) Grass Fed 15% fat, 4oz=112g
1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
2 cup Sauce, Bertolli Tomato and Basil Spaghetti Sauce
Tips
This recipe can alternatively be finished in a slow cooker over low for 6-8 hours!
Directions
1. Combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, and ketchup and form into a ball.
2. Form 1-inch diameter meatballs; appx 12 meatballs total
3. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat with a T of oil
4. In a medium pot bring the tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and onions to a simmer
5. Fry the meatballs, moving constantly, until lightly browned
6. Add meatballs to the pot, careful to shake off excess oil
7. Turn the sauce down to low and let simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally
Serve over mashed potatoes or rice
